“I’m pleased to have the support of the Dulles Area Association of Realtors,” said Shawn Mitchell. “The continued support I am receiving in this campaign to bring common sense solutions to the General Assembly is very encouraging. As a small business owner and resident of the 13th District, I understand the every day challenges residents of the district are facing, from concerns about the economy, to sitting in traffic to not being able to spend enough time with their family.
“When I am in the State Senate, I will support policies that jumpstart our economy, like providing incentives to businesses that are creating and maintaining jobs locally. Additionally, by implementing practical solutions like increased telecommuting and synchronized light timing, we can get cars off the road and get us out of the transportation crisis that hinders our every day lives. These common sense solutions will allow us to spend more time with our families and improve our quality of life.”
Shawn Mitchell lives in Broadlands with his wife Ashley and daughter Isabella. He is a combat veteran who served in Bosnia and Iraq and owns Modern Mechanical, a small business located in the new 13th District.
